| Video Discription | My AMG GT Black Series is finally out in action at the Dubai Autodrome! This has been on my bucket list, and thanks to Supercars Majlis, it's happened in great fashion on a hypercar filled evening with Pirelli. The GT Black Series is Mercedes-AMG's take on an ultimate track machine, and it claimed the Nurburgring Nordschleife lap record so it's very much on my agenda to get it out on track wherever possible and the Dubai Autodrome is a must visit stop during this visit to the region. Running on the Club Circuit, the team from Supercars Majlis organised this fantastic Pirelly trackday under the floodlights at night, and a perfect opportunity to give it a go in some great company with both a McLaren P1 and Bugatti Veyron taking time on track. It's also the first time I've tested out the Track Telemetry in the GT Black Series, which gives some amazing data and information about the lap times, with a live delta during driving and lots of analysis to be done afterwards too. Of course I had to put the car into track spec with the extended front splitter and the supports in place, with everything as it should be for maximum attack. Conscious that my GT Black Series has a long journey ahead of it on this world tour before it will return back to @TheShmuseum, I do need to be a bit wary of preserving it slightly, but either way what an amazing outing on a famous race track, and one I can now 'tick off' for this car that not all that long ago I would never have thought possible.
