| Video Discription | This is a heated debate whether Minimally Surgery ( EPSiT, LASER & Gips) would replace Flap procedures ( Limberg, Bascom's, Karydakiz, V-y plasty, Z plasty, and others) WHERE DO YOU STAND? I personally do Minimally invasive surgery, for I strongly feel that there is no need to disfigure the natal crest in the name of flap surgery. Do we need to flatten the natal cleft ... I think not. Looking at the results of EPSiT, LASER, and Trephinining, the recurrences are remarkably reduced. In the debate, both speakers are highly accomplished in their fields, give supportive evidence for their cause. Note: It's no brainer that IN large open midline wounds, Flap surgery is best for it covers the large raw wound. |
