The doorman is to maintain his post at the Front Entrance at all times and to maintain a high profile as a representative of the Hotel. Main Responsibilities. Maintain his position at the front entrance at all times, only leaving the post when relieved by another member of the Bell Service staff. greet guests in a polite and professional manner. direct and control traffic at the Front Entrance. Perform a variety of duties to assist guests and patrons such as: a. Opens car doors/hotel entrance doors b. Hails taxis c. Gives directions and answers simple enquires. To assist Bellmen in duties such as: Load and unload baggage and Look after baggage at the Front Entrance until collected. To report any malfunction of equipment at the front entrance to the Bell Captain or Chief Concierge. To talk to the guest and do the job right the first time. To arrange transportation for guests as and when required. |
