| Video Discription | This is a demo piece written to highlight a heart-to-heart conversation between a man and his estranged daughter. The setting takes place in Jacmel, Haiti, where a father engages in conversation with his daughter he hasn't seen in 8 years. Their conversation starts off rocky, with the daughter expressing her grievances from childhood, and how she's done with her family. The father, then, reminds his daughter of a song they used to sing together many years ago. That song is "Nan Fon Bwa". As he brings that song to memory, the daughter remembers all the times she and her father would sing this song when she was a child. Composed, orchestrated, and produced by myself. Recorded in Budapest, performed by The Budapest Scoring Orchestra. |
