Facoltà di Architettura ValleGiulia la Sapienza di Roma , novembre 2011, relatore: prof. arch. Dina Nencini. -I propose an artificial habitat for an ideal community defined by a Manifesto. -The Manifesto contains the Principles of the ideal community. -The project is contextualised in a not-ordinary reality, with the presence of an hypertechnology aimed at the production and distribution of all goods, an economic system based on the resources. There's no money, there's no job, there's the nomadism, there is a radical human migration from the land to the water. -I imagined the Habitat as an organism composed by three macroentities (body, mind, soul). These entities contain all services required for the user of the island, an Ideal Man. Body_ Physiological Path: living cells_ I define the skeletal hosting living cells. The nomad-man is channeled into the free cell by pathways that lead capillary from the public sphere to the private one. The cells, normally isolated, can join together to accommodate an unlimited number of people. Family concept is not excluded, but its evolution is expected. Mind_ Cognitive Path: the plate for services_ The proposal is an isotropic space, in which the human being allows his own spatial perception to choose the process. The vertical development is in depth. The morphology of different tissues is the synthesis of an analysis about the spatial perception of the human being. The services are classified as places of the body and places of the soul. Soul_ Perceptual Path: the memory tower_ A line traces the boundary between two spaces. It 's an undefined limit on the scale and time, a blur that in the architectural language becomes defragmentation. Defragmentation evolves in plan. The plan rises symbolically without limitation, to make infinite the fourth dimension. The tower is the place of memory, it is also a cemetery, it is a place where people transit for an introspective way inside and more exposed outside, where the structure breaks up until becomes empty.
