| Video Discription | The interiors for The Andy Griffith Show were filmed at the Desilu - Cahuenga Studios in Hollywood, CA. For eight years the show filmed on sound stages 1 & 2. Inside these studio buildings were the tiny sets for the interior of the Courthouse, Floyd's Barber Shop/Emmet's Fix it Shop, Weaver's Department Store, Walley's Filling Station, The Drug Store, the Taylor Home, as well as just about all of the interiors to be filmed. Their was also even an exterior of the Courthouse and Floyd's Barber Shop. The outdoors filming was done over at the 40 Acre Back Lot off of Jefferson Blvd. near Baldwin Hills. Other shows that were filmed here at Desliu were Gomer Pyle USMC, I Spy, The Danny Thomas Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show, I Love Lucy and countless others.
