A powerful cyclone is expected to make landfall between Gujaratโs Mandvi of India, Pakistanโs Karachi on Thursday. However, there hasnโt been any sign of panic at the local bazaars in Karachi. Residents said they were stocking up on food just in case things took a turn for the worse. Climate Change Minister Sherry Rehman said that Karachi was not under immediate threat. However, emergency measures were being taken to deal with accompanying winds that are expected to batter nation. Till now, more than 60,000 people had already been evacuated from Pakistan's southern coast.
