| Video Discription | These are 3 different intros for season 5 of The Dukes of Hazzard. During this season, Tom Wopat and John Schneider left the show due to a dispute over money. The studio execs saw fit to replace them with "carbon copy cousins" named Coy and Vance, played by Byron Cherry and Christopher Mayer, respectively. They are represented in the 1st intro, which also has new footage for Uncle Jessie, and a new General jump at the end. Sonny Shroyer also returns as Enos, who stars alongside Cletus. The 2nd intro drops Cletus (Rick Hurst), since he left the show, and his intro time is filled by another General jump. The 3rd intro features the welcome return of Bo and Luke, alongside Coy and Vance, who promptly departed during the same episode. Oddly, the ending jump, which is Bo and Luke, has Coy and Vance's "Yee-Haaw!!" at the end. The intro from this point on to the end of the series is the one used for season 4, except with Sonny Shroyer replacing Rick Hurst. I also couldn't resist adding some humorous commentary to the last intro! |
