I find that if my basic needs are met, joy can be cultivated anywhere I live, and it was a rewarding challenge to move out here and learn to live in a new way. I moved here about two years ago looking for a better paying job, and found it as a preschool teacher - though now I work as an artist full time while planning to do more teaching in the future.
