| Video Discription | In this session, children's literature expert Jennifer Asha introduces the genre of children's climate fiction, identifying its key features. We then take a close look at two works of cli-fi for young readers: the picture book Iceberg, by Claire Saxby and Jess Racklyeft, and chapter book How To Bee by Bren MacDibble. We speak with the authors to understand their aims, motivations and creative processes, then Jennifer is joined by Associate Professor and PETAA President Pauline Jones to discuss classroom implications for the genre: how can these books be used to have rich and meaningful discussions with students?
