Hundun, the faceless creature who cannot differentiate right from wrong. Taotie, the gluttonous abomination who eats everything in sight. Taowu, the hyper violent and incredibly ignorant chimera. Qiongqi, the tiger monster that breeds and feeds upon conflict. Their origins and appearances differ greatly from story to story, but the wickedness of the Four Perils is consistent throughout all tales.
