I didn’t go into much detail about the products I use because I wanted to get straight to the point but below is a description of the products I mentioned. Do some research and take some time to choose what products work best for you. I hope this helps! Micellar water is a combination of purified water, hydrating ingredients and mild surfactants. Microscopic spheres called micelles act like magnets for dirt and oil. when you wipe a cotton ball soaked with it, the micelles adhere to the cotton while pulling makeup, sebum and any other dirt. 2. Chemical exfoliants are acids that remove built up layers of dead skin cells and excess oil. there are two types of acids, AHAs ( Alpha hydroxy Acids) and BHAs ( Beta Hydroxy Acids). AHAs are great for textured skin, pores and to brighten the complexion. BHAs go deeper into the pores to dissolve excess sebum that can cause blemishes. 3. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in our skin that holds water and keeps it hydrated and plump. when used in skin care, HA brings moisture to the surface of your skin. sometimes picking the right HA can be tricky. the molecule can be too large to deliver the hydration deep into the skin and can roll on the skin. Make sure its a micronized HA. 4. Jojoba oil is rich in antioxidants. it has a wax structure that is similar to the natural oils of our skin. it does not clog pores and soaks into this skin 5. Squalene oil mimics your natural sebum. its great to fight bacteria and oily skin types like it because it doesn’t leave that oily residue. 6. Rose hip oil is packed with anti-inflammatory fatty acids and vitamins A and C. its anti aging, brightening and hydrating, also without leaving that oily film.
