Home to one of Peru's most notable archeological sites, Kuelap is an ancient fortress that was built on top of a mountain by the Chachapoyas people and it is the largest Pre-Inca archeological site in South America. The Karajia site is the famous anthropomorphic sarcophagi built on a narrow cliff ledge and most of all, Chachapoyas gives you access to Peru's most mesmerizing waterfall: Gocta.
