This morsel of heaven is perfect with your evening cup of Chai/Coffee! This #KajuPakodi is made using cashew, besan, rice flour, and curry leaves. Try this #CashewPakoda with Cookd's simple recipe and serve it. Do try this recipe and share your feedback with us. Cashew Pakoda Recipe: Cashew (full) - 200 grams Salt - 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 1 ½ tsp Asafoetida Powder - ¼ tsp Fennel Powder - 1 tsp Green Chilli (finely chopped) - 2 nos Ginger (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp Curry Leaves (finely chopped) - 3 tbsp Baking Soda - A Pinch Besan - 1 Cup (+more, if needed) Rice Flour - ½ Cup Hot Oil/Hot Ghee - 4 tbsp Water - As Needed Oil (for Deep-Frying) - As Needed Curry Leaves - 1 Sprig Cooking Instructions: 1. In a bowl, mix the besan and rice flour. Add all the ingredients except the cashew, hot oil and water. 2. Mix well so that the ingredients are distributed evenly. Add hot oil and mix using your fingers to form crumbs. 3. Add the cashews and mix. Add water and mix to form a stiff dough. 4. Add small roughly shaped pieces of the mixture into the oil over medium-low heat. Fry until it reaches a golden brown colour, around 6-8 minutes depending on the size. Remove from the oil and allow it to cool slightly and turn crisp. 5. Fry curry leaves in the same oil and sprinkle them over the fried Pakoda. Serve it with tea.
