| Video Discription | On October 1st, 1992, the world's first cable channel dedicated to showing cartoons all day every day was launched to the delight of cable subscribers. This channel was The Cartoon Network (shortly later known as just Cartoon Network). For its 30th anniversary, enjoy 24 hours of Cartoon Network's first years of operation (known as the Checkerboard era). Happy birthday, Cartoon Network! 🥳🎉🎂🎈🎁🥳 This is a compilation video I put together using footage of commercials and episodes from shows that played on Cartoon Network during the Checkerboard era (1992 to 1997). It is based off schedules from those years. Many shows (like The Snorks, Jetsons, 2 Stupid Dogs, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kids, Scooby-Doo Where Are You!, Speed Buggy, Jonny Quest, and SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron to name a very few) can't be used for copyright reasons. These shows were substituted with other great cartoons and shows that played on Cartoon Network around the same time. Think of it as a retro remix or a bootleg broadcast. This is the second part of a video I had to split into three parts because it was too long for Youtube. It goes from 8 PM (in the evening) to 4 AM (in the late night/early morning). This is a reupload, as the original video was taken down due to a copyright claim blocking it worldwide.
