Seleccion de 45 de las 101 cartas que Séneca escribio a su joven amigo Lucilio desde la distancia que da la diferencia de edad y mayor experiencia. En ellas se exponen una serie de consejos, recomendaciones, advertencias y reflexiones sobre muy diversos temas. A menudo se las conoce tambien como 'Epistolas morales' de Séneca. Es sin duda una lectura muy amena, sencilla y directa a modo de relación epistolar en la que se desarrollan muchas ideas que ejemplifican el pensamiento estoico en el dia a dia de una manera mucho más atractiva y accesible que la de otros autores de la misma corriente filosófica como Marco Aurelio o Epicteto T.
