A must try shahi dessert "Shahi Gajrela" #FoodFusion #HappyCookingToYou #OlpersCream Written Recipe: https://bit.ly/3DYahDW Shahi Gajrela Serves 8-10 Recipe in English: Ingredients: -Gajar (Carrots) 1 kg -Chawal (Rice) basmati ¼ Cup (soaked for 2 hours) -Water ¼ Cup -Doodh (Milk) 2 litres -Sugar ¾ Cup or to taste -Elaichi ke daane (Cardamom pods) crushed 8 -Badam (Almonds) sliced 2 tbs -Pista (Pistachios) sliced 2 tbs -Kewra water 1 tsp -Olper’s Dairy Cream 1 Cup -Pista (Pistachios) Directions: -In a bowl,grate carrots with the help of grater & set aside. -In a grinder,add soaked rice,water & grind coarsely & set aside. -In a pot,add milk & bring it to boil. -Add grated carrots,ground rice and mix well,bring it to boil & cook on medium flame for 5-6 minutes,cover partially & cook on low flame for 18-20 minutes and keep stirring in between. -Add sugar,cardamom seeds,almonds,pistachios,mix well & cook on medium flame until milk is reduced and thickened (5-6 minutes). -Add kewra water & mix well -Turn off the flame,add cream and mix well. -Turn on the flame and cook for a minute. -Garnish with pistachios & serve hot or chilled! Recipe in Urdu: Ajza: -Gajar (Carrots) 1 kg -Chawal (Rice) basmati ¼ Cup (soaked for 2 hours) -Water ¼ Cup -Doodh (Milk) 2 litres -Sugar ¾ Cup or to taste -Elaichi ke daane (Cardamom pods) crushed 8 -Badam (Almonds) sliced 2 tbs -Pista (Pistachios) sliced 2 tbs -Kewra water 1 tsp -Olper’s Dairy Cream 1 Cup -Pista (Pistachios) Directions: -Grater ki madad sa gajar ko bowl mein grate ker lein & side per rakh dein. -Pot mein doodh dal ker ubal lein. -Grated gajar aur ground chawal dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad darmiyani ancch per 5-6 minutes kliya paka lein,partially dhak dein aur halki ancch per 18-20 minutes kliya paka lein aur bech bech mein chamcha chalatay rahein. -Cheeni,elaichi ka daane,badam aur pista dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein aur darmiyani ancch per doodh reduce aur garha ho janay tak paka lein (5-6 minutes). -Kewra water dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Chulha bund ker dein aur cream dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Chulha on karein aur ek minute kliya paka lein. -Pista sa garnish lein,garam aur thanda serve karein! |
