| Video Discription | Welcome to our weekly update on cannabis plant growth! In this episode, we'll be focusing on Day 56 of our Grape Pie clones from Archive Portland. The Grape Pie strain was bred by Cannarado Genetics. Let's take a look at the climate conditions the plants are experiencing. During the day, temperatures reach a warm 70°F / 21°C with a relative humidity of 60%. At night, the temperature is 68°F / 20°C with a lower humidity of 50%. For fertilizer, we're using Jack's 3:2:1 + KSi, which has been providing our plants with the necessary nutrients to grow strong and healthy. Our EC levels are currently at 1.0 with a pH of 5.6. We're also monitoring CO2 levels, which are at a range of 700-1200 PPM. Lastly, we're measuring ePAR (380-760nm) and PPFD at 800 µmol/m²/s. These metrics give us insight into the intensity and spectrum of light our plants are receiving, which is crucial for optimal growth and yield. We hope you enjoy this harvest video and the beautiful flower! Fertilizer: We're using Jack's 3:2:1 + KSi fertilizer. This is a balanced fertilizer that provides the plant with all the nutrients it needs. EC: The EC is a measure of the electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution. A higher EC indicates a higher concentration of nutrients in the solution. We're aiming for an EC of 1.0 by the end of the run. pH: The pH is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of the nutrient solution. A range of pH between 5.5 and 6.2 is ideal for rockwool grown cannabis plants. We're using a pH meter to monitor the pH of the nutrient solution and adjust it as needed. CO2: CO2 is essential for photosynthesis, which is the process by which plants convert sunlight into energy. We're using a CO2 generator to increase the CO2 level in the grow room. The CO2 level is currently 700-1200 PPM, which is in the optimal range for cannabis plants. ePAR: The ePAR is a measure of the photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) in the grow room. PAR is the light that plants use for photosynthesis. We're aiming for an ePAR of 800 µmol/m²/s, which a good range for cannabis plants in the final weeks of flower. |
