| Video Discription | The chassis is a 2003 car, raced by Ed Carpenter and more recently by Ryan Hunter Reay at Vision Racing before we purchased the car in 2010. The car raced in the 2010 Indy 500 for Bryan Herta Autosport with rookie Sebastian Saavedra, where it was crashed. The car was repaired in 2011 and served as the backup car for Indy 500 winner Dan Wheldon. The car is manufactured near Parma, Italy by race car constructor Dallara. It raced with a 700hp Honda Indy V-8 engine. In 2012 this car was retired and transitioned to its current role as a show car. It has appeared at events and trade shows across the country in the last two years. History: Vision racing campaigned this car for 6 seasons with drivers Ed Carpenter and most recently Ryan Hunter-Reay. Highlights under Vision Racing: Qualified 5 times for the Indy 500: 2005 Qualified in 221.439 MPH for Ed Carpenter and started 26th.....finished 11th running 2006 Qualified in 224.548 MPH for Ed Carpenter and started 12th.....finished 11th running 2007 Qualified in 223.495 MPH for Ed Carpenter and started 17th ......finished 14th running 2008 Qualified in 223.887 MPH for Ed Carpenter and started 10th.......finished 5th running (led 3 laps) 2009 Qualified in 219.503 MPH for Ryan Hunter-Reay and started 32nd......finished 32nd crash Other Notable races: 2005 5th Place finish for Ed Carpenter at Chicagoland Speedway 2009 2nd Place finish for Ed Carpenter at Kentucky Speedway 2009 2nd Place finish for Ryan Hunter-Reay at St, Petersburg. Sold to Bryan Herta Auto Sport in 2010.
