Reacting to a post featuring PM Modi's visit, Maldives MP Zahid Rameez said that the idea of competing with them is "delusional". Taking to X, PPM's Zahid Rameez made controversial remark saying that, "The permanent smell in the rooms will be the biggest downfall" for India. Twitter user were quick to lambast the Maldives politician for his 'distasteful' remarks on Lakshadweep.
