| Video Discription | In this video you will learn How to Use Google Forms as a Contact Form in Blogger. Generally, I use the native and built-in Contact Form in my Blogger blogs. However, in October 2019, there was an issue with the Blogger contact form. Essentially, messages were being sent using the contact form, however, the messages were not getting to the blog owners. The issue was reported to the Blogger team, however, no resolution of the issue seems to be in sight. So I thought I’d look for alternatives and I found this decent alternative by using Google Forms. It’s not the most ideal of solutions, but it works fine. Google Forms is free to use and it’s fairly easy to set up. Here are the steps on How to Create a Google Contact Form: (1) go to the Google Forms website (see link below); (2) from the dashboard, click on the Contact Information option; (3) edit the template, by editing, adding, and deleting respective fields; (4) in the Responses tab, click on the three vertical dots icon and choose “Get Notifications for New Responses”; (5) click on the gear icon (top-right corner) and uncheck all the boxes; (6) in the Presentation tab, you can edit the confirmation message; (7) and finally save it. To embed the Google Contact Form, click the Send button (top-right corner) and in the Embed tab, copy the embed code. You can then take this embed code and place it in a Blogger page. You can check the detailed step-by-step process in this tutorial. When someone sends you a message using the Google Contact Form, you will receive a notification in the email that is connected to your Google account.
