| Video Discription | I know this is a contentious issue and there are people who refuse to watch "trauma ****" movies or at least try to avoid them (I fall into this camp) which is a fine personal choice. But in our critical discourse we have to be a lil bit more sophisticated. I might not personally ~*want*~ to watch black people beat in slow motion but that doesn't mean such depiction is inherently bad or inherently antiblack or inherently for the white gaze. I think we dismiss any racialized physical violence as always automatically these things. And I think that's so unsophisticated.
