| Video Discription | My beautiful family at the beach in 2020 was a beautiful disaster. This was our first trip to beach since the stay at home order has been lifted and our beautiful mixed raced kids were super excited to be at the beach but Kevin and I were on edge the whole time. Our kids kept trying to run into the ocean as if they were expert swimmers and Kevin had to keep Alston very close. Eventually we had to cut out trip to the beach and go across the street to the intercostal. The waters were much calmer at the intercostal side than at the beach and Kevin and I were able to finally have a fun conversation and let the kids explore a little on their own. We wore matching bathing suits to the beach and everyone thought it was super cute. I'm sure the sight of a mixed race family in matching bathing suit showed that it's possible to live in harmony with one another at a time like this.
