| Video Discription | This Diwali make this super yummy Badam puri WITHOUT FLOUR AND BUTTER, WITHOUT FRYING Subscribe my channel: https://bit.ly/Subscribe_foodnflowers Find me on Facebook at: https://bit.ly/facebook_foodnflowers RECIPE DESCRIPTION: Ingredients Almonds 2 Cup (32 tbsp) Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbsp) Milk Powder ( 3 tbsp) (OPTIONAL - for chewy badam puri) Cardamom/elaichi powder 1 Teaspoon Kesar 1 Pinch Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbsp) (Or as required) Directions GETTING READY 1. In a dry blender, add almonds and blend into powder. Make sure the oil from the almond is not released (don't over blend, else it will happen) 2. Using a sieve, sift the flour into a large mixing bowl until an even and fine consistency of powder is achieved. 3. Preheat the oven at 170 degrees C. MAKING 4. For the Badam puri: Take the Badam dry powder, add sugar, Milk powder, cardamom/elaichi powder, kesar mix well. 5. To make the dough, add milk 1-2 tablespoon at a time and mix until well combined into a cookie dough. Make sure there are no cracks in the dough. I had to use about 7 to 8 tbsp milk for 2 cup almond flour. 6. Take two sheets of wax paper/plastic sheet and place this dough in between the sheets and using a (Flat) rolling pin, roll out the dough to form about 3 mm thick flat dough. 7. Remove the dough from the sheets and using any shape cookie cutter, make cookie shapes from the dough and place them neatly on a baking tray about 1 inch apart. (I used a small steel container as our cookie cutter) FOR BAKED BADAM PURI: 8. Bake this in the oven at 165 degrees C for 5 to 8 minutes or until done, in convection mode. (If you want crispy cookie-like badam puri, bake it for about 12 to 15 minutes) FOR COOKING ON GAS STOVE 8. Place the cut badam puris on a flat panon low flame. 9. Cook for about 1 minute on both sides till it gets a little brown edge. 10. This will give a kaju katli-like texture, soft and yummy. SERVING 9. Serve these Badam puris in this diwali's sweet box!
