| Video Discription | A Luftwaffe Field Division Gruppe in is cut off from the rest of their division on the Eastern Front in 1943. After sustaining heavy casualties from artillery bombardments for numerous weeks, the men hope to survive in a hastily dug trench system. The under strength Gruppe is left with rations, ammunition and morale running at an all time low. Julian, the youngest in the Gruppe, in an attempt to cope with the atrocities of war, has been abusing his stash of Pervitin. Pervitin was a stimulant given to soldiers in the German Military during World War 2. The pill increased focus, energy and morale, while lowering fear and inhibitions. It also had severe side effects that included exhaustion, heart pain, vomiting, delirium, depression, hallucinations, suicidal thoughts, stroke and death. Julian and the other remaining members of the Gruppe must deal with not only the horrors of war, but manage the paranoia and infighting. The short film will be released on the 12th of May 2024. |
