The EU announced measures targeting Iran's state broadcaster, army chief, Revolutionary Guards commanders and a cleric. Protests have swept Iran since the September 16th death of a young Iranian Kurdish woman in police custody. Courts in Iran have sentenced 11 people to death in connection with the protests, with the first two people executed in the past week.
