| Video Discription | Upputtu is also called Sweet Poli. In this preparation, I have shown a traditional way of preparing upputtu in Brahmin style for festivals and ceremonies. This is a fantastic dish and when it is had along with pure ghee (or) Honey (or) hot saffron cardamom milk, the taste enhances and one is not sufficient for a person. Treat yourselves and your guests with this wonderful dish at your home! Coconut Chanadal Purnam Preparation: 1 cup grated coconut, 1 cup jaggery, 1 cup cooked chana dal (1/2 cup cooked for 3 whistles in cooker) Cardamom powder & Ghee Dough Preparation: 2 cups wheat flour, 1 cup hot milk, Water as required & some oil |
