Kicking off at Circuito Monteblanco, outside of Seville, Spain, let's take a walkaround of the new Vantage to see Aston Martin's latest supercar, a serious jump up from the previous iteration and sitting alongside the new DB12 in their product portfolio. Resisting the introduction of hybrid technology, the AMG sourced V8 has been significantly reworked to boast a 30%+ increase from the previous car, along with 800Nm of torque. The design however not only 'fixes' what was arguably wrong with the previous model, but goes beyond and the result is stunningly beautiful; more grille space for cooling, air curtains for aero, new matrix LED headlights, and incorporating the lovely tail details of the earlier car. However, the interior has a complete change, now boasting a version of the latest infotainment that launched with the DB12, and it's truly a big step forwards from what came before. After a drive on the local roads up to the Rio Tinto to explore it in a road setting, the next step is to stretch its legs on circuit, and boy does it not disappoint! Aston Martin have introduced an adaptive traction control, but this much power to the rear wheels has no issues providing a seriously entertaining experience at this motorsports playground.
