| Video Discription | Ashwin is interaction designer. His idea is to connect social network experience to the product design. Objects have a charm and natural interactivity missing in most current digital technology. We now have the possibility of fashioning our own physical objects with interesting new 'networked' properties. Here he uses three everyday objects to discuss ways of thinking about how we might put digital back into the physical. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
