Tawang is a border area in Arunachal Pradesh where clashes between Indian and Chinese troops took place in 2022. The locals in Tawang said they won’t bow down to China, adding that they feel secure because of the Indian Army. These villagers also showered praise on the Central and State Governments for their development initiatives and expressed gratitude. A marathon, just about 25 kilometres from the LAC, has been organised by the state government with assistance from the Indian Army.
