The preparation takes some time but it tastes really good and it's worth the wait. patika (alum) is a very important component in this food. Boiling in it in ghee enhances the taste of the prasadam. The nutmeg and elachi powder are added to give it a nice flavour. This is liked by everyone and enjoyed by everyone.
