| Video Discription | One non-local was shot dead and another person who got severely injured died after some terrorists opened fire at them in Srinagar on February 07. According to Jammu and Kashmir police, the non-local was identified as Amritpal Singh, a resident of Amritsar. The terrorists opened fire at a spot in the Shaheed Gunj area which was later was cordoned off. While speaking to the media, DSP Rajinder Manhas said, “J&K Government had sent fifty thousand cash and one lakh of cheque to Amritpal Singh’s Family. As far as the second deceased is concerned, his body will be brought back to Amritsar from Srinagar after postmortem and official formalities.” “Amritpal Singh had gone there a day before yesterday and worked as a carpenter in Srinagar. Last night, we got the call that terrorists have attacked, then we later came to know that he died. And the other boy is seriously injured. He was my younger brother. He had been working there for 3-4 years.
