It succeeds a long line of ultra desirable C63 Coupes, a tonne of rivals of a similar internal basis, AND it has to deal with the cloud of hatred and abhorrence that follows the awful new C63 4 cylinder everywhere AMG goes. Basically carrying our collective hopes and dreams on its broad wide bodied shoulders. Tough ask for any car, even one as good looking as this one. So let’s have a look at the CLE 53 both outside and in, then head back out for a full first drive, and really see is this is a top dog AMG only in looks, or can it walk the walk too?
