| Video Discription | In this Video Tsula and Pepper go to great lengths to star gaze in one of the most remote and darkest places in the United States. They take two telescopes and observe with one, a 150mm Maksutov Cassegrain, and take photos with an Orion EON 115mm Triplet on an Orion Sirius EQ-G Mount. Originally, I wanted to use empirical evidence to show that observing and photographing in a dark sky site is better than even a lightly polluted one but there are too many variables that cannot be controlled for a true scientific experiment. Instead, this video is just my experience of star gazing in the darkest place I know of and how much better the experience was for me. We observed the Milky Way in a way not possible in areas not as dark as the Bortle 1 site we visited. We also had a big adventure in just reaching the Bortle 1 site and spending time there.
