| Video Discription | This is a case of HCC 22 cm in diameter located in the right liver lobe. The patient had Child-Pugh A cirrhosis caused by Hepatitis B infection. As PVE was found not suitable for technical reasons, we performed Associating Liver Partition and Portal Vein Ligation for Staged Hepatectomy (ALPPS) with the first stage having been completed laparoscopically. After the 2nd stage the patient developed a grade-A liver insufficiency which was treated conservatively and was discharged home uneventfully. |
