| Video Discription | I got to go and do Almagre Mountain on Mother's Day 2022. It was a short cut route I got from All trails and downloaded to my Garmin InReach device. It turned out to be 3 miles in and some 2066 ft of elevation gain. Of course there were some ups and downs and a lot of snow drifts and ice to deal with. Finally made it and started aactivation around 1:15PM on May 08, 2022. Overall made around 12 contacts some on VHF and some on HF. Broke down early for the 4 hour hike out.
