| Video Discription | Here I am salvaging the brake line fitting from a '67 Alfa Spider. Since these exact fittings are NLA (you can get modern versions but I am looking for a factory look) I will bring these back to life. The good news is that they are in excellent shape (no one has used pliers to them) but of course have 50 years of grime and rust. I could have them zinc plated but in this case I don't have the time so I cleaned them up on a wire wheel and then oil quenched them to give a black finish. Pretty simple. |
