The site was one of thirteen sites established under the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) and the Armed Forces Special Weapons Project (AFSWP). The Department of Defense Code Name for the site was the “North Ordnance Area”. It was also referred to as the "North Depot Activity". The Site later became known as the Seneca Ordnance Depot. |
