| Video Discription | A number of Taliban suicide bombers targeted the US-Afghan base in Zherai district of southern Kandahar province on Monday afternoon, local officials said. There were no reports about US and Afghan forces casualties. Seven bombers were wearing ISAF forces uniforms and were killed by US forces, officials said. Two civilians and a NATO soldier were also killed in the attack. The incident took place when a suicide bomber drove an explosive-laden car into the base and the other bombers entered the gate, said Jawid Faisal, a Provincial Governor Spokesman. |
