| Video Discription | Aavesham is a 1979 Malayalam-language Action Crime motion picture written by C.v. Hariharan and Mohammad Mani. The movie is directed by Vijayanand and Vijay Anand. Aavesham was produced under the production house Sree Sabitha Films. Aavesham stars Jayan, K. P. Ummer, M. N. Nambiar, Ceylon Manohar, Jayamalini, M.n. Nambiar and P.k. Abraham. The music was composed by A. T. Ummer along with Bichu Thirumala. It was released on 19th November 1979. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Sree Sabitha Films.Directed by Vijay Anand, starring Jayan Nair and Sheela Xavier in the leading roles.Avesam is a rare breed of an action movie in Malayalam. Jayan battles a tiger, a bear, crocodiles and numerous baddies in this late 70's flick that will have your heart rolling. The story is just an excuse for Jayan to go wild on any evil. Sheela is Jayan's sister and Ummar is his brother-in-law and M.N.Nambiar is Ummar's boss. The boss wants the employee's wife which ultimately leads to Jayan arriving to save her. An action adventure movie we don't see so often in Malayalam. |
