| Video Discription | Last weekend, I was in the Kansas City/Independence, Missouri area for this year's Book of Mormon Rally . It brought people together from various Latter Day Saint church backgrounds under one roof. Independence fascinated me when I visited for the first time a year and a half ago. The area is surrounded by various Restoration churches. There's a plot of land that was designated as a gathering place for the Saints in a revelation given to Joseph Smith in 1831, where a temple was to be built for Christ's second coming. Due to a number of different factors (one of which was because the Governor of Missouri issues an extermination order of all Mormons during that time), the temple has yet to be built. For this video, I was invited to the Book of Mormon Rally organized by Patrick McCay and Casey Griffiths. Usually I'm in the congregation, but this time for the second year in a row, I was onstage to give a brief talk along with other guest speakers.
