| Video Discription | Ragi Sev/ Ragi Omapodi/ how to make ragi omapodi / ஆரோக்கியமான கேழ்வரகு ஓமப்பொடி/Finger millet sev: This Ragi sev/Ragi Omapodi is an easy & healthy snack recipe which can be done quickly with very few ingredients. This will be a great home made tea time snacks. Ragi Sev / Ragi Omapodi is a healthy snack recipe which is made up of Ragi flour mixed with rice flour and gram flour for some crispiness and flavored with ajwain / carom seeds. This is called as Omapodi since Ajwain is called as Omam in Tamil. INGREDIENTS; 1 cup Ragi flour 1/4 cup Rice flour 1/4 cup Besan flour 1 tbsp. Ajwain/carom seeds/Omam 1tbsp. Butter Salt as needed Oil for deep frying. NOTES: Since this is made up of fiber rich ragi flour, this sev is little bit harder than plain sev made by besan flour. If you want, the ratio of flours can be changed to get softer sev as you prefer. Variation: 2:1:1 of ragi : rice : besan flour.
