The RDTS 51K is a new design incorporating an AK style recoil spring retaining method doing away with some of the issues on a collapsing recoil rod/spring assembly. Also the cocking support is solidly embedded onto the front of the bolt carrier during cocking and loading weapon so they both stay in a straight line in relation to the receiver. No cocking support lean out! Set up to use Wolf/Tula 308 ammo for proper ejection and recoil management. NATO 7.62/308 requires a different locking piece or gun will not eject reliably. Wolf/Tula has a faster pressure build in a short barrel than NATO spec ammo such as Portuguese/Australian Defense etc. There is nothing toned down; wimped out or monkeyed with to make the gun function. RDTS in their HK51K gives you a fully locked up carrier, full spring pressure on the bolt head locking lever, factory headspace and a full HK91/G3 recoil spring. All HK German parts are used except for the American JLD/PTR receiver. Hammer forged HK barrel, German trigger group, Bolt Carrier etc. A very, very limited run of these RDTS HK51K's are available in pistol form.
